Legality of smoking is subjected to have a long been controversial issue. Although the defenders of legality of smokingbelieve that smoking should be illegal, smoking should remain legalfor two main reasons. To begin with a fact for humanity that if something is forbidden to people, it becames more attractive to people. In other word, forbidding smoking would be a reason for widely smoking. Secodly, forbidding somoking would constitute chances to be rich with illegal cigarette selling; for instance, the Soviet Union experienced same condition with forbiddance of alcohol. By the time, the Soviet Union forbad drinking alcohol, most of the underground pubs had been getting rich. Despite those strong arguments against the issue, those who are in favour of forbidding smoking claim that smoking damage everybody's health in a smoking area. the proponents of issue have a point; however, smoking problem can not be solved with forbiddances. Governments should raise public awareness of people, instead of borbidding smoking. To conclude, smoking is a huge problem for healty life an the problem and this problem can be solved with public and self awareness.

joining work and travel organizations has two major developer effects. Firstly, work and travel organizations help to understand people how work life is. For example, while people are earning money, they learn the difficulties of private corporations. on the other hand they learn that earning money is not easy. Secondly, work and travel organizations develop speaking skills. For example, when you go abroad you have to speak in foreign language to communicate the natives. that's why your speaking skills develops step by step. In conclusion, if you want to develop your speaking skills and understand the work life, you must join a work and travel organization.

understanding work life=> earning money=> learning the difficulties of private corporations=> learning earning money is nor easy

developing speaking skills=> being required to speak in foreign language=> developing speaking skills

I don't know whether you know who Cahide Sonku, so I wanna start with a short biography of Cahide Sonku.

Cahide was born in 1916 in Yemen. She opened her eyes in a solitary family. her grandfather was Seventh Army Commander and her father is an officer in grandfather's command. After they migrated ftom Yemen to İstanbul her father has left the home. because of that they fell into proverty.

When she was 16, she accepted Dar-ül Bedayi as a figurantand student. After some representations Muhsin Ertuğrul discovered her and then she became first and the biggest star of Turkey. in addition, she was the first women director and producer of Turkey. She established Sonku Film. Unforeseeable end cameafter burning of Sonku Film. She lost in alchol bottles. According to Cahide, she has learned alchol from Talat Artemel (her first husband, a famous actor), power and faithlessness from İhsan Doruk(her second husband, a powerful businessman)

She lived as like a butterfly. She waited for years in her cocoon, then she left her cocoon in Dar-ül Bedayi and flyed with her all beauty. But her life was as short as butterfly has. She moved up the highest place as somebody can do and she fell into the deepest place that she never can imagine. Alchol, bad marriages, and not attending Muhsin Ertuğrul's advices are prepared her disappointing end.

Cahide Sonku has died in 1981 poor, pissed and alone. Only 8 person came her funeral but her doughter wasn't one of them.

I will write about the representation in another post.

(I am sorry about not translating the program. I couldn't translate the positions of the lecturers, so I decided to keep the original form declared by www.odtuvt.org.tr )

Let me begin with some definitions of sustainable development. There are a lot of outlook about sustainable development. I want to focus on two of them on the same line of the presentations: environmental sustainable development and economical sustainable development. According to World Commision on Environmental and Development(WCED): "Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." For example, our CO2 emission will make an obstacle between future generations and their own needs. If we don't minimize our CO2 emission, human life will lose it's sustainability. Secondly, as far as I learned from the presentations, economical sustainable development is development that is a runner on a balanced way between social, economic and environmental targets. On the other hand companies needs to care about social and environmental targets as much as economic ones for future. So that most of global companies has R&D services that works to increase the quality of the companies's social and environmental posture. To sum up, whichever you choose as the definition of sustainability development, it will be related with quality of human life.

If you want to be a succesful businessman, you have to care about the social environmental factors.
